31 мая 2010 года состоялась пресс-конференция Министерства по делам семьи и молодежи Автономной Республики Крым, посвященная Дню защиты детей.

На пресс-конференции остро обсуждались вопросы защиты прав детей, реализация их прав на воспитание в семье, перспективы развития сети учреждений для детей, детей-сирот и детей, лишенных родительского попечения, а также молодежи, требующей социальной поддержки.

С краткой информацией о деятельности Министерства в этой сфере выступила Министр по делам семьи и молодежи Автономной Республики Крым Т. С. Ежова.

В своем выступлении Т. Ежова отметила, что, не смотря на недостаточное финансирование, реализация Государственной политики в Автономной Республики Крым, направленная на социальную защиту детей и поддержку молодежи выполняется в полной мере и достигнуты значительные позитивные результаты. Также Т. Ежова озвучила план проведения мероприятий в Автономной Республике Крым, посвященных Дню защиты детей.

Участники пресс-конференции ответили на многочисленные вопросы журналистов, касающихся: положения детей-сирот, детей лишенных родительского попечения Автономной Республики Крым, процесса их усыновления и устройства в семейные формы воспитания, под опеку и попечительство; оздоровления детей льготных категорий; системы реформирования учреждений социальной защиты детей, детей-сирот и детей, лишенных родительского попечения, а также учреждений социальной помощи для нуждающейся молодежи; перспектив и приоритетных направлений в деятельности Министерства по делам семьи и молодежи на будущие годы.
