 28 февраля 2011 года в республиканской Шахматно-шашечной школе завершились чемпионаты республики по шахматам среди мужчин и женщин. Особенностью подобных турниров в нынешнем году было то, что и мужской и женский чемпионаты проходили в одно и тоже время.

 С данной инициативой в январе 2011г. к Дивееву Виталию Валентиновичу обратились министр по делам семьи, детей, молодёжи и спорту Плакида Алёна Александровна и Председатель молодёжной общественной организации «Молодёжный комитет Центрального района г. Симферополя» Тамашова Елена с предложением поддержать проведение открытого турнира по боулингу среди детей из детских домов семейного типа в преддверии 23 февраля.
